Where can I find a good environment drawing tutorial?

I'm working on a peice with the character already in front, i'd love to find a tutorial for a simple but effective background, thanks!

1. Matte painting it the top end of the background art process. But it should be a find site for you to learn from. Basicly though, the 1st part of a matte painting is a lot more abstract, which might be what you are looking for with out all the detail work. the 2nd link there will take you to the tutorial section
